It is hard to believe that we have been training on the use of video to communicate effectively with our customers for 10 years now!
Many of you have really captured the importance of this valuable tool - I take my hat off to you all!
Now let's see if we can enhance the quality of the work we are doing.
In the video above, I stress the importance of a few points:
If using a cell phone, hold it horizontally - this will provide a better viewing experience on the other end.
Don't make a selfie if possible - too often we are too close, and if the camera on the phone isn't the latest, it will show you backwards.
Keep the camera movement to an absolute minimum - again, think about how it is being viewed.
Make sure you are in the video - you are the most important ingredient here.
Stress a definite call to action - what do you want to have happen as a result of you sending this video?
